Lily Allen smokes during gig

London, Mar 8 (ANI): Lily Allen smoked a cigarette onstage, even though she was suffering from a chest infection.

Disregarding the smoking ban, the 'Smile' hitmaker lit up at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

However, she apologized to the crowd for off key vocals."I've got a bout of bronchitis so sorry if my singing's a bit s**t. Not that it's any good anyway," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

Allen had flouted the smoking ban in Liverpool in December, forcing local authorities to reprimand her.She was even fined last year for smoking onstage in Paris.

Smoking in public places is banned in both Britain and France since 2007.

Allen is currently in a tour with rapper Dizzee Rascal. (ANI)
