London, Jan 12 (ANI): 'Wolfie' Martin Adams has come clean about the knockout secret to his World darts glory - no sex.
Adams, 53, became the Adonis of Lakeside when he lifted the crown for a second time with his brilliant 7-5 defeat of Dave Chisnall on Sunday.
However, he spent the week on a self-imposed nookie ban.
Adams used the hit movie 'Rocky' and the boxing star's trainer 'Mickey' - played by legendary actor Burgess Meredith - as his inspiration.
"We have all watched the Rocky films - women weaken the legs," the Mirror quoted him as saying.
"Like Rocky's coach (Mickey Goldmill) said, if you want to be a champion, you've got to stay focused and you can't have any distractions - not even one in the shape of the lovely Mrs Adams," he added. (ANI)
