Melbourne, Jan 11 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan is at the centre of a hit and run case in Los Angeles after a paparazzi member filed a lawsuit against the actress claiming her driver almost killed him.
According to TMZ, the 'Mean Girls' star's car allegedly struck the photographer and then sped away from the scene.he 23-year-old actor was not driving the vehicle but was inside the car at the time.
And now, her driver is being targeted in a criminal assault with a deadly weapon investigation.
The incident reportedly occurred around 12:30 a.m PT in front of The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA.
The photographer was injured but was not taken to hospital, revealed the report.
"Of course I'm going to sue them ... but I don't care about the money," News.com.au quoted the photographer as telling TMZ.
He claims he is "lucky to be alive", especially since the driver was wearing sunglasses while driving in a dark alley.
"I want to press charges so badly ... she's going to jail," he said. (ANI)
