Lahore, Sat, 26 Dec 2009 ANI

Lahore, Dec. 26 (ANI): Pakistani intelligence agencies have warned of a possible terror strike on the occasion of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's death anniversary (December 27).

"Terrorists are planning to attack rallies and ceremonies to be arranged on December 27 in connection with Benazir's death anniversary," The Daily Times quoted intelligence reports, as saying.

Security agencies have been directed to beef up arrangements across the country to prevent any untoward incident.

Bhutto was killed in a terror strike on 27 December 2007, while leaving a campaign rally for the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) at Rawalpindi's Liaquat National Bagh. (ANI)
