Ramnagar (Uttarakhand), Aug 2(ANI): The Jim Corbett National Park wildlife officials on Sunday found the body of a four-year-old tiger during routine patrolling in the buffer zone of the national park in Uttarakhand.
Officials have ruled out any foul play in the death and said that the big cat could have died due to natural reasons.
"During inspection we have not found any external injury or other marks on the body of tiger, the nails, canines, hair and skin were intact. It seems that it might have died a natural death," said Vinod Singhal, Director of the Jim Corbett Park.
Singhal further informed that a team of veterinary doctors and experts would conduct a post mortem to ascertain the exact cause of the death. (ANI)
