Women's health deteriorate more rapidly than men prior to diabetes
New Delhi, Oct 03 (ANI): According to a new study, women with versus without prediabetes experience significantly larger adverse differences in their cardiometabolic health than men. This is the case with women prior to the onset of type 2 diabetes (T2D). The research was aimed at evaluating sex-related differences in cardiovascular risk factor levels, both before and after the onset of T2D. The authors stated that the major finding of this study is that there are already sex differences in cardiometabolic risk factors before the onset of T2D, to women's disadvantage.
