Uttar Pradesh to recruit 97,000 police constables
Lucknow (UP), Oct 18 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) OP Singh announced that there are about 97,000 vacancies in civil police. He said that out of 97,000 the recruitment of about 42,000 personnel is ongoing. The announcement was made jointly by the State Principal Secretary (Home) Dr Arvind Kumar and State Director General of Police (DGP) OP Singh in a press conference here on Thursday.
