Janmashtami 2018: Country celebrates birth of Lord krishna
Ahmedabad (Gujarat)/ Mumbai/ Imphal (Manipur),Sep 04 (ANI): Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm across the country. The festival celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna’s temples were decorated and special programmes were organised across the country to celebrate his birth. Lord Krishna is considered an avatar of the Lord Vishnu and his birth anniversary is considered a day to be celebrated by most Hindu's and his worshippers.
