Jammu and its surrounding places being a hilly area are very apt for various adventure sports options including Adventure trekking, Mountaineering etc. There are many shops that provide Adventure sports equipments as well as trekking equipments on rent. Tourists enjoy trekking mostly in summer however there are few sites that allow trekking in winter season as well.

Paragliding is the latest addition to the adventure sports list. It is carried out in Sanasar. Required equipments are available on hire at tourist office of Jammu city.
Paragliding is carried between May to June and September to October in Sanasar.
