The constitution of India came into function on January 26, 1950; the day that has been commemorated as the Republic Day of India. The constitution of India accounts 117.369 words in English with its own Hindi version. Its preamble is the key to constitution and to the form of democracy and a secular govt. The preamble summarizes the fundamental rights of the citizen who is chief in democratic form of govt. which centers people. The Indian constitution plays the pivotal role in the function of govt. especially it is indispensable for the parliamentary democracy. In this way Constitution is the supreme law of Indian govt.and every letter scripted on it is put in to action by the administration. It can only be amended by the endorsement majority of votes from the members of both houses of Parliament on a particular issue after being consented by the president.
