The artists of Rajiv Memorial Arts and Sports Club were performing the Kolkali Dance. The Kolkali dance is a Muslim Tribal dance of Lakshadweep. The literary meaning of Kol is stick and Kolkali means playing with sticks. It is a religious folk dance performed by only men. Women are not allowed in it. The dancers play it in a circle.
