July 02: Indian cricket team has finally get some recovery of its prestige from the world cup disaster after winning the Future Cup title in Belfast by beating South Africa by six wickets margin in the third ODI. India won the series by 2-1 beating south Africa in the third ODI that is looking as a final match as before this both the teams have won one match each in Belfast, Ireland.

India has a poor record of overseas victory, so this victory is like a tonic for the forth coming time. Heaving a sigh of relief Indian captain asserts that we deserve this win. “After the World Cup disappointment, we needed to regroup and get our confidence back. We have worked hard as a team and deserve all the success that comes our way," said Dravid after the match.

"The preparation for the tour was not ideal but I'm really happy the way the boys put up their hands up and performed. They did not knuckle down under any pressure and played well," Dravid added.

It was a tremendous team effort and admirable show by the Indian Cricket team as most of its key players were laid low by a cold bug and the captain had to struggle a lot for electing the complete 11 fit men for composing a team for the series.

Sachin Tendulkar once again adjudged as the Man of the Series after achieving a milestone of 15,000 runs in the second ODI, while Yuvraj Singh was elected as the Man of the match because of his unbeaten match-winning knock of 61 runs in the final match after surpassing his poor form sticking since World Cup series.

"Sachin played brilliantly in the series and Yuvraj played so well. The bowlers did a great job today and it was a great team effort. After the World Cup debacle, the boys took a lot of beating. We needed to prove that we are not so bad as a team. I am very happy that we have won this series, “Dravid revealed.
