Manali-Leh highway closed after snowfall

Shimla, Oct 16 (IANS) The 474-km Manali-Leh highway was Thursday evening closed for traffic following heavy snowfall, an official said.

'The highway has been closed afer fresh snowfall in higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir,' said S.K. Doon, commander of the 38 task force, the General Engineering Reserve Force (GREF).
