High voltage drama, backstabbing and constant pressure to live up to the expectations of viewers; TV actress Juhi Parmar survived it all to emerge winner of controversial ‘Bigg Boss’ season five and became entitled to get whopping Rs.1 crore. This ‘Kumkum’ fame TV actress outperformed actress Mahek Chahal and Siddharth Bhardwaj to win the show.
The final of the show was graced by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Imran Khan, who came there to promote their soon-to-be-released film "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu". Karan Johar said that he wanted Juhi to win the show. He also added that his mother Hinoo Johar is a fan of the show.
However actor-filmmaker and Bigg Boss season 3 participants Kamaal R. Khan criticized the show saying it was high on fights and low on entertainment quotient.
The final of the show was star studded. A host of performers made the final dazzling. Sunny, Malaika Arora, Pooja Missra, Rakhi Sawant, transgender activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Shonali performed at the finale. Character actor, villain and participant of Big Boss 5 Shakti kapoor also showed some foot tapping with all the girls that entered with him in Bigg Boss 5. But star attraction of the day was Malaika Arora who held audience spellbound with her dancing numbers like "Chhaiya chhaiya", "Chhammak chhallo" and "Honth raseele".
Hosts Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt also showed some foot tapping to keep audience enthralled.
