London, Jan 7 (ANI): Tamara Ecclestone, who has a shoe collection of over 200 pairs that total more than 70,000 pounds, was forced to ditch her heels and go barefoot while launching the London Boat Show.
The 27-year-old elder daughter of F1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone wore a glamorous pink two-piece outfit with black lace detail on it but was missing a pair of her trademark Louboutin's as she opened the 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show at The Excel.
The TV personality was forced to pose barefoot on the multi-pound boat so that she didn't damage any of the expensive decking.
Even a pair of 2,000-pound Louboutin''s can leave scratch marks and scuffs on a boat and because the vessel was up for sale nobody was allowed on board it with shoes on.
The model brought some glamour to the proceedings and was charged with cutting the ribbon to open the show.
With her long brown locks in loose curls, the heiress took part in a glamorous 1950's inspired performance that included a troupe of synchronised swimmers dressed in vintage bathing suits and some topless men in bow ties.
While posing for pictures barefoot, she tried to give the illusion that she was wearing heels by arching her foot slightly to give a slight extension.
Although she began the day in a pair of her trusty Louboutin's, but was forced to remove them before stepping on the boat.
She looked well tanned after having just returned from a beach holiday in Dubai but she still felt the need to touch up her make-up in between posing on the boat.
"I'm thrilled to have been involved in this fantastic event," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
"I have fond memories of being taken out on yachts from an early age and so I've always loved being out on the water.
"I really enjoyed seeing all the action live at the show as well as being given a tour of all the new boats that were launched this year - I'd definitely recommend it as being a fun day out for all," she added. (ANI)
