London, Jan 5 (ANI): Bristol Palin has quit Hollywood and fled back to Alaska to live with her parents.
The 20-year-old, who has a three-year-old son Tripp, has asserted that a confrontation with a man who launched a rant against her mother at a Los Angeles bar was the deciding factor.
The DWTS contestant was riding a mechanical bull at the Saddle Ranch on Sunset Strip in Hollywood when she was heckled by the man last September, the Daily Mail reported.
During the quarrel, Bristol asked Stephen Hanks if he hated her mother, the Republican Party nominee for Vice President in the 2008 presidential election, because he was gay.
"I wasn't really into the Hollywood thing," she told the new issue of InTouch magazine.
"And [after the altercation at Saddle Ranch] I just realised I was over it and I wanted to come home."
She also decided it was time to head back home for the sake of her son.
"He's going to be starting pre-school soon, so we needed to settle into a routine," she added. (ANI)
