Ghaziabad, Jan 1 (ANI): Close aide of Indian veteran social activist Anna Hazare, Manish Sisodia, said that Anna's health is the main priority for the team and they will find different ways of protesting and pressurizing the government.
Interacting with mediapersons in Ghaziabad on Sunday, Sisodia raised concerns over Hazare's health and said the team members would not want him to sit on fast anymore now.
"We will have to find different ways of protesting, so that we can pressurise the government. Anna ji's health is our main priority, we cannot even think of him sitting on fast right now," said Sisodia.
Hazare was hospitalized at the Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in Pune on Saturday for chest congestion and viral fever.
Concern over Hazare's health have been mounting ever since he observed a three-day fast to press the demand for a strong and effective Lokpal body, in Mumbai recently.
Sisodia further stated that it was good that the government's Lokpal Bill was not passed in the Rajya Sabha, because it was 'weak and useless'.
"It is a good thing that the weak and useless Lokpal Bill presented by the government did not pass, if it would have been passed, then the citizens of India would have suffered," he said.
"It is sad that usually we hear Parliament is supreme in politics but that day government was supreme instead of the Parliament. We will further frame our course of action in such a way that public is supreme, then the Parliament and then the government," Sisodia added. (ANI)
