New York, Dec 23 (ANI): James Franco is reportedly in talks to cameo as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner in 'Lovelace'.
Franco, 33, was initially eyed to play the male lead of Chuck Traynor in the indie drama.
If the deal is finalized, the '127 Hours' star would join newly cast supporting actors Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth and Robert Patrick, as well as stars Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard, American weekly magazine Variety reported.
Set between the birth of the sexual revolution and the culmination of the feminist movement, 'Lovelace' depicts the life of Linda Boreman, who as Linda Lovelace became the world's first erotic superstar due to the success of 'Deep Throat.'
Franco is expected to be on set for a single day. His screen time as Hefner will be limited to scenes in which the magazine mogul welcomes Boreman and Traynor to the Playboy Mansion for a screening of 'Deep Throat' and has a heart-to-heart with the actress about her future. (ANI)
