Melbourne, Dec 21(ANI): The Boxing Day Test between India and Australia is likely to be marred by rain.
Weatherman Alex Zadnik predicted thunderstorms would likely occur during the day, that is likely to have maximum of 25 degree temperature.
He added that balmy conditions are likely to mark Boxing Day with "potentially heavy rain" in the morning.
"The morning looks quite hot. (But there's) quite likely to be a delayed start to play. It's a bit early to be sure. (But) the odds are for a wet start (to the Test)," The Age quoted Zadnik, as saying.
The temperature is expected to drop for the remaining days with a maximum forecast of about 20 degrees on the second day after Boxing Day.
"It's likely that a few showers might linger on Tuesday the 27th, but nothing heavy. However, the whole Test isn't likely to be rained out," he added. (ANI)
