Shimla, Oct 4 (IANS) Six people, including four children, from two families were killed when the car they were travelling in rolled down into the Ravi river in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district Saturday, police said.
The victims were on the way to Bharmour village in the district from Kangra when the driver lost control and the car fell into the river, Superintendent of Police R.S. Negi told IANS.
Eight people were travelling in the Alto car, Negi added.
While the condition of an injured woman admitted to a hospital was stated to be critical, one more child was still missing.
The dead were identified as Ashok, Kanchan Devi, Abhishek, Anshu, Jahnavi and Nandani.
