New Delhi, Nov. 17 (ANI): L K Advani's former aide Sudheendra Kulkarni and two former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmakers Mahavir Bhagora and Faggan Singh Kulaste walked out of the Tihar Jail here on Thursday evening a day after the Delhi High Court granted bail to them in the 2008 cash-for-votes scam.
Two other accused in the case Sanjeev Saxena and Sohail Hindustani also walked out of the jail today.
The cash-for-votes scam had rocked proceedings in the Lok Sabha in 2008, when the ruling UPA Government, led by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, allegedly bribed lawmakers of other parties to help winning the confidence vote. (ANI)
