Muzaffarabad, Oct 26(ANI): The top judge in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has survived an attempt on his life.
Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, the chief justice of the High Court in PoK, was shot by an unknown person on Tuesday.
According to local police, the chief justice was taking a stroll in Chellabandi, a location about one and a half kilometres away from his residence, when someone shot him from a hidden place, The Nation reports.
The judge, hit by a bullet that pierced through his abdomen, was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery.
According to doctors, the chief justice is now out of danger.
Meanwhile, the attacker managed to escape from the scene. (ANI)
