Alwar (Rajasthan), Oct 2 (ANI): Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs Jitendra Singh has blamed Pakistan's spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), for conducting acts of terror in India and across the world.
Commenting on the recent rift between Pakistan and the United States of America, Singh said that Washington has now realised that Pakistan has been the base for all the major terror groups and its chief agency, the ISI, was also sponsoring acts of terror all over the globe.
On this aspect, Jitendra Singh mentioned that Indian security agencies had revealed some suspicious plots in neighbouring countries like Afghanistan and Nepal.
"Not only in India but all over the world, all the acts of terror are being conducted by ISI (Inter-Service Intelligence) or Pakistan, this fact has now been understood by them (United States of America). Many suspicious acts in our neighbouring countries like Afghanistan or Nepal have also been detected by our intelligence agencies, who have also gathered proof for such acts," he told mediapersons on the sidelines of a public function at Alwar on Saturday.
It may be recalled that the United States has accused the Pakistani army's powerful spy agency of supporting the Haqqani militant group, a chief driver of violence in eastern Afghanistan.
The U.S. had blamed the Haqqani militant group for an attack against its embassy and the NATO headquarters in Kabul. (ANI)
