New York, Sept 30 (ANI): Nick Broomfield, who made a documentary film on Sarah Palin, has revealed that one hurdle he faced in infiltrating her world was the steady diet of moose meat in Wasilla, Alaska.
The Brit filmmaker spent 11 weeks in Wasilla while making his film 'Sarah Palin: You Betcha!'.
"The people there were very reluctant, but also very hospitable," Broomfield told the New York Post about interviewing Palin's circle.
"Everyone has their own moose concoctions, so the first thing you do is try a lot of moose: moose sausage, pickled moose," he revealed.
He also had trouble renting a house because the only two real estate agents there assumed he was doing a "hit piece."
"They were unbelievably rude, without any prior conversation," he said, "but it's also very hard to rent a house because the only people who rent in the middle of the winter are making meth. It's the meth capital of Alaska." (ANI)
