New Delhi, Sep 26(ANI): The Indian Army in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organize a Defence Communication Seminar (DEFCOM 2011) on November 2 and 3 at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantonment.
Participation from Indian industries, academia, luminaries from research and development organizations and selected Defence Officers is expected during the two days.
"It will be an ideal platform for the industry to understand the needs of the Armed Forces better," the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
Lieutenant General S.P. Kochhar, Signal Officer-in-Chief and his team are spearheading the conduct of this seminar, for which the theme is "Enabling Information and Communication Technologies for Information Age Warfare".
The seminar would be conducted in five sessions spread over a period of two days.
Several key note speakers, experts in their fields, have been invited for this event. (ANI)
