London, Sept 16 (ANI): Sarah Palin's husband Todd has said that 'The Rogue: The Search for Sarah Palin', the biography on his wife contains "disgusting lies".
The book written by Joe McGinniss alleges that the former Alaskan governor had a six-month affair in the 1990s with Brad Hanson, her husband's business partner at the Polaris snowmobile store in Big Lake.
She is also said to have snorted cocaine off a 55-gallon drum while on a snowmobile trip with friends, smoking marijuana with a professor at Mat-Su College in Alaska along with having a one-night stand with US basketball star Glen Rice.
Palin, a potential 2012 presidential contender for the Republican Party, has not yet commented on the claims from the book, excerpts from which were first published in the National Enquirer.
"His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears," the BBC quoted Todd Palin as saying.
According to ABC News, Todd also said that the book was full of "lies" and "smears", accusing McGinniss of being obsessed with his wife.
"This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife," he said via a Sarah Palin campaign aide.
"His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears. Even The New York Times called this book 'dated, petty,' and that it 'chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip'," he added. (ANI)
