London, August 18 (ANI): Cesc Fabregas made a stunning debut for Barcelona, playing a part in the build-up to Lionel Messi's winning goal two minutes from time in a Spanish Super Cup final.
Fabregas marked his 40 million pound arrival from Arsenal by coming on as a late substitute and being at the centre of a mass Nou Camp brawl.
Mayhem erupted after Madrid left-back Marcelo fouled him. The Brazilian was sent off, as every player and most of the backroom staffs piled in, The Sun reports.
Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid were beaten 3-2 to slump to an aggregate 5-4 defeat.
Andres Iniesta had put the European champions ahead early on only for Cristiano Ronaldo to equalise. Messi put Barca 2-1 up before Karim Benzema levelled again. (ANI)
