New Delhi, Aug 16 (ANI): Veteran social activist Anna Hazare on Tuesday night turned the down the release order, saying he will not move out of the Tihar Jail until he gets unconditional permission to fast.
"Anna Hazare turns down Government's conditional release order. It is said by sources that Anna will not leave Tihar jail until unconditional permission to fast. It is also said that there should not be any conditions for his fast at Jai Prakash Park. It is indicated by sources that Anna will court arrest again but won't bow down," Times Now channel quoted sources, as saying.
Meanwhile, Hazare's key aide Manish Sisodia has been released from the Tihar Jail.
"Anna adamant on continuing fast at JP Park. Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal continue to fast inside jail," said Sisodia after his release.
Scores of Hazare's supporters have gathered outside the Tihar Jail here to see the veteran social activist walk free.
Hazare was sent to seven-day judicial custody in Tihar Jail earlier in the day.
A Special Magistrate Court sent the social activist to Tihar Jail after he refused to sign a personal bond.
Hazare was asked to sign an undertaking promising that he would not violate Section 144.
High drama was witnessed in East Delhi's Mayur Vihar area, when police detained Hazare at about 7:30 a.m. from an apartment about three hours before he was to sit on his agitation.
The 74-year-old social activist was taken into custody before he was to proceed to the venue of his fast in Jai Prakash Narain Park.
Delhi Police had denied permission to stage a fast at Jai Prakash Narain Park after he refused to abide by all the 22 conditions set by them.
People from different walks of life have come in support of Hazare and demanded his immediate release. (ANI)
