London, Aug 15 (ANI): A seven-year-old British boy has become one of the 'hottest prospects' in darts after he defeated some of the world's biggest players since taking up the game at the age of two.
Four-feet four-inch Wigan schoolboy Nathan 'The Atom' Butcher, the, took up darts aged just two. By the age of three he had thrown his first maximum 180, when three darts landed in the treble 20.
Among his scalps are former five-time World Champion Eric Bristow, and even current PDC World Champion Adrian Lewis, the Daily Mail reports.
He has also beaten World Championship finalists Ronnie Baxter, Tony O'Shea and Alan 'The Saint' Tabern.
All players agreed to take on the youngster after hearing of his incredible skills, the paper said.
Nathan now regularly throws the maximum score during three-hour training sessions alongside his father Colin, 48.
"Nathan's been described as a future world champion by several of the biggest names in darts," the paper quoted his father, as saying.
"The first darts competition that he won was a local one for six to 12 year-olds. At the age of five Nathan was underage for the competition, but he still won," he added.
Nathan, who developed his incredible talent at A180 Darts club near Manchester, is inspired by his hero, 15-times World Champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor and regularly competes against teenagers. (ANI)
