Sanjay ties knot with Manyata, ends speculation

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt finally solemnised their wedding with long time girl friend Manyata according to Hindu rituals in Mumbai Monday. Both were looking glad and gorgeous in golden designer outfit.

The wedding was kept secretly to his family and friends and orchestrated at the house of bride’s friend Pradeep. It was attended by Sanjay Dutt`s close friends- Suniel Shetty, Nitin Manmohan, Bunty Walia. Paparazzi were kept away.

Dutt reportedly had tied the knot with Manyata two years ago at the Taj Exotica in Goa on February 7 under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 but had kept secret to the media. Munna bhai finally completed the divorce proceedings last month with ex-wife Rhea Pillai and solemnised their wedding on Monday.

The nuptials ceremony took place while Sanjay was shooting for Suneil Shetty’s production, EMI in Goa.

Dutt and his wife came out for a photo-shoot and thanked the media, his friends, and fans for the constant support. When asked about his immediate plans, he told he had his shooting commitments, henceforth would be staying in Mumbai as of now.

The marriage ceremony on Monday kept so secret that even Sanjay Dutt’s sister Priya Dutt expressed her surprise at the wedding and said that the she had no information about the supposed wedding and was not called for it. She said she did not pay heed to the gossip and added well if the information is right I am happy for Sanjay.

“I have not been informed and asked about it. Maybe he doesn’t give it that kind of importance to mention it any further as he is seeing Manyata since a long time. Sanjay is 50 yrs old and too old to ask us for suggestions. I will just wish him all the very best,” said Priya Dutt.

Manyata alias Dilhaaz Shaikh actually belongs to Dubai and is a divorcee of three. Her first marriage with Meraz Rahman and later with Muhammad Ali did not prove lucky to her and soon ended in divorce. Under family pressure she married Naved, but unfortunately met with the same fate.

The gorgeous model kissed the silver screen for the first time with an item song in Prakash Jha’s Gangajal.

Sanjay Dutt, too had married earlier to Richa Sharma, who died of cancer and later model Rhea Pillai, who has been separated with divorce.

Manyata proved for Sanjay lady luck and after entering her into Dutt’s life, his problems gradually diminished. The 48 -year-old superstar, who was sentenced to six years in prison, was released on bail in November last year pending an appeal against his conviction to Supreme Court.

Speculations over their wedding intensified last month after Dutt shocked everyone with an advertisement in Shiv Sena organ Saamna, which pronounced him and Manyata as Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt.
