London, Aug 13 (ANI): Anne Hathaway has revealed that she was left on tenterhooks because of the audition for the part of Catwoman in the hotly anticipated Batman sequel, 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
Hathaway, 28, explained what she went through as she waited for the decision, which was made by director Christopher Nolan.
"Chris met with a bunch of girls. Then he culled the list down months later," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
"So everyone with XX chromosomes in Hollywood was sitting on pins and needles. Then he screen-tested a few of us.
"I thought it had gone well but you never want to get your hopes up too high.
"So a few days later back in Brooklyn my manager called and she goes, 'Meow!' It was one of the best days of my life," she added. (ANI)
