Poonch, Aug 7 (ANI): Security forces on Sunday shot dead a divisional commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District.
Acting on a specific information about the presence of militants, security forces launched search operations in Doba Dhok forest area. However, the hiding ultras opened fire on the troops who retaliated and in the ensuing encounter troops claimed to have shot top militant Abu Usman.
Usman, a Pakistani national was active in the Poonch District for the last 5-6 years, All India Radio reports.
