Washington, August 5 (ANI): Anne Hathaway believes that life can be 'f***ed up and painful' without any apparent reason.
The 'One Day' actress, who was left stunned in 2008 when Raffaello Follieri, her boyfriend of four years was jailed for four-and-a-half years for fraud and money laundering, insisted that she wasn't the only person who has been inflicted by ominous things.
"People deal with horrible things all the time," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Marie Claire magazine.
"Downstairs in this pub, someone is battling cancer. Someone has lost their job.
"Life is really f***ed up and it's really painful sometimes.
"I think it's unusual for someone in a position of prominence to go through something like that, but it's not really unusual in life," she added. (ANI)
