Thiruvananthapuram, July 20 (ANI): The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed Air India to pay a compensation of 75 lakh rupees to the family of a victim killed in the air crash at Mangalore Airport in May last year.
Justice P.R. Ramachandra Menon directed the airline company to pay the compensation within one month, deducting the advance payment effected already.

This came on a petition filed by the Mangalore Air Crash Victims Families Association after Air India offered a victim's father Rs 35 lakh as compensation
The air crash involving the Mangalore-bound Air India Express flight from Dubai took place on May 22 last year killing 158 persons on board while landing at the Mangalore Airport. (ANI)
