Hina Rabbani calls for "uninterruptible" India-Pak dialogue process

Islamabad , Tue, 19 Jul 2011 ANI

Islamabad, July 19(ANI): Pakistan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar has urged making the India-Pakistan dialogue process "uninterrupted and uninterruptible", saying that it needs to be result-oriented and used to help build trust.

Khar said this after her meeting with Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Sharat Sabharwal, in Islamabad.

She also emphasized that the dialogue process was as much about building trust as about resolving all issues, the News reports.

Meanwhile, Sabharwal said that Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna was looking forward to Khar's visit to India.

Khar, who is set to become the Foreign Minister, will visit India later this month for talks with Krishna.

The Foreign Ministers' meeting will be preceded by preparatory talks between Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir July 25. (ANI)
