Muscat, July 17 (ANI): The Indian embassy in Oman has decided to outsource processing service of passports and visas shortly.
According to a statement issued by the Indian embassy, the process of collection of passport and visa application, dissemination of information and forms of clients, collection of fee, capturing and dissemination of data in electronic format to the mission and delivery of the serviced documents to the applicants would be done by BLS International Sevices.
The Company is headquartered in New Delhi, India and also operates Indian passport and Visa application centers in Kuwait, UAE, Spain, Sudan, Austria, Poland and Lithuania, the Gulf News reports.
The Indian Passport and Visa Application Service Centre will be formally opened on Tuesday and the date of actual commencement of operations would be announced shortly.
BLS International Services has launched a website for the applicants, which contains latest information about the requirements for different passport and visa services, their respective fee, a section to download various application forms and contact information of the centre.
The Indian Embassy in Muscat has become the eighth Indian mission abroad to outsource the Passport and Visa service process. (ANI)
