Islamabad, July 7ANI): The Foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan are likely to meet in New Delhi on July 27.
Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir will travel to New Delhi for the purpose a day ahead of his minister, The News reports.
Both nations will have separate meetings of two working groups for chalking out confidence building measures (CBMs) proposals this month before having full-fledged dialogue of their foreign ministers.
Well-placed diplomatic sources in Islamabad revealed that both countries are processing through diplomatic channels for a final schedule for two very important meetings of working groups on cross-LoC confidence building measures (CBMs) and nuclear safety standards.
The sources also said that some tangible outcome could be expected from the foreign minister-level talks as the atmosphere between the two countries has reportedly turned conducive for any such upshot after a long period of time.
The Foreign Ministers are meeting upon the culmination of eight separate group's comprehensive meetings, and the report pertaining to their respective deliberations have already been submitted to the Foreign Secretaries.
The discussions of the two working groups in question will also be placed on the table when the two foreign ministers meet later this month.
The working groups of the two sides will likely to discuss ways and means of liberalizing visas, the report said, adding that Pakistan and India are also expected to work on an agreement to prevent incidents at sea, such as the recent mid-sea 'brush' between Pakistan's Navy ship PNS Babur and Indian Navy ship INS Godavari.
