Islamabad, June 23 (ANI): Ahead of the foreign secretary-level talks in Islamabad, Pakistan has said that it is open to discussing issues of terrorism and the 26/11 probe with India.
Talking to Asian News International, Pakistan Foreign Office Tehmina Janjua said: "Pakistan never has reservation in discussing the issue of terrorism with India as Pakistan itself is facing the onslaught of terrorism."
When asked whether Pakistan is open for discussion on 26/11 probe, Janjua said: "When two foreign secretaries meet they will be discussing all the issues and it is up to them to decide".
Meanwhile, ahead of the talks, Pakistan has once again raised the issue of Kashmir.
"We have a principle position on Jammu and Kashmir and Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir will reiterate its position during the talks with his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao," Janjua said.
"We will also be discussing confidence building measures on Kashmir and nuclear safety, she told ANI.
She, on the behalf of Foreign Secretary Bashir, also welcomed the Indian delegation led by Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao. (ANI)
