New Delhi, June 17(ANI): Foreign Secretaries of India and Pakistan will meet in Islamabad next week to discuss peace and security, confidence building measures, Jammu and Kashmir, and promotion of friendly exchanges, the Ministry of External Affairs said today.
Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir will hold talks on June 23-24.
It will be their second meeting since February, when they held talks in Thimphu, Bhutan, on the sidelines of SAARC Ministerial Conference.
"They are expected to review the progress in the recent rounds of bilateral talks between various ministries of both the countries. This would naturally cover all issues of mutual concern, including the continuing threat posed by terrorism," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Vishnu Prakash said. (ANI)
