Washington, June 16 (ANI): The Turkey Government has granted Angelina Jolie the permission to visit the decamped Syrian refugees.
Around 8,000 Syrians have reportedly escaped the violence during the anti-government uprising and have been put up on the Turkish side of the border.
However, Foreign Ministry spokesman Selcuk Unal has announced that the arrival date of the Hollywood celebrity and goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees still remains uncertain, reports wsj.com.
According to Unal, after an appraisal of the application that was sent on Jolie's behalf, Turkey decided to approve of her visit. (ANI)
