Palamu, May 26 (ANI): Maoists set on fire at least six trucks in the Naxal-affected Jharkhand's Palamu District on Thursday.
Around 40 Maoists intercepted the vehicles, asked the drivers to get off before setting the vehicles ablaze on Medininagar-Aurangabad Road under Chatarpur police station last night.
Narrating the incident, eyewitnesses said over a dozen Maoists attacked them.
"Around 10.30 pm or 10.45 pm, we reached here and saw two vehicles burning ahead of us on the road. So we stopped our vehicle here and they came to us and took out diesel and torched our truck and beat us up," said Jeetan Saav, a trader. (ANI)
