Gadchiroli, May 19 (ANI): Maharashtra police is exchanging fire in an ongoing encounter with a group of Maoists in Gadchiroli District on Thursday.round 250 Naxals are involved in the encounter in the forests near Halewara in Bhamragarh.
The firing at the police party, comprising of C-60 and CRPF battalion, started at Nargond in Bhamragarh taluk at 7. 30 a.m.
According to sources, at least three jawans have been injured.
The area, near Nagpur, is the hotbed of Maoist activity in Maharashtra. (ANI)
