Muscat , Sun, 24 Apr 2011 ANI

Muscat, Apr 24 (ANI): The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged the country's expatriates to get residency card for their children once they turn 15 to meet the Expatriates Residency Law.

"To avoid legal action, expatriate families are advised to stick to the prescribed period for issuance of the residency cards," the Gulf News quoted a statement issued by the ROP, as saying.

The executive regulation of the Expatriates Residency Law states that any expatriate who enters the Sultanate should submit an application to get his or her residency registered within the specified period. (ANI)
