Jalandhar, Apr 22 (ANI): Family members of murdered Jalandhar hotelier Gur Kerat Singh on Friday demanding justice said the arrests must be made immediately in connection with the case.
As per reports, 32-year-old Gur Kerat Singh was shot dead at 1.45 a.m. on Thursday by Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Adampur Sarabjit Singh Makkar's nephew Ram Simran Singh Makkar and his three associates.
"Makkar who shot my brother in law is a councilor, and his uncle Sarabjit Makkar is a MLA. Police has registered a FIR, but no arrests have been made yet. Two people don't shoot someone accidentally," said Gulbag Singh, brother-in-law of the victim.
The police have registered a case against the four accused on the basis of the complaint lodged by the hotelier.
It has been reported that Rajbir Singh, the owner of Hotel Sekhon Grand, has in his FIR alleged that Ram Singh along with his three associates killed Gur Kerat Singh.
The other accused of murdering Gur Kerat Singh are Amardeep Singh Sani, Jaspreet Singh Jassu and Prince Narula. (ANI)
