LiLo's decision to drop last name 'hurts' dad Michael

New York, Mar 26 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael has said that he is hurt by the news that his daughter wants to drop her last name.

"At the outset, it hurts to hear something like that, but at the end of the day, it's never going to happen," the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.

"It's a real shame Dina would make up this kind of story. From the time she came out to California, she's tried to put a wedge between Lindsay and me."

"Every time she comes around, she tries to put a wedge, and it's only harmful to Lindsay and the children. This family needs therapy," he added.

Michael was arrested earlier this week after an alleged physical dispute with his ex-fiance, Kate Major. (ANI)
