Peshawar, Mar 25(ANI): Two primary schools for girls have been blown up by unknown assailants in Pakistan's Khyber tribal region.
According to reports, militants planted explosives in the schools located in Landi Kotal tehsil and later detonated them, destroying the buildings.
No loss of life was reported in the incidents, the Dawn reported.
Following today's attack, the total number of schools blown up in the tribal region has climbed to 41.
In another incident, unidentified attackers blew up a gas supplying junction pipeline in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti district in Balochistan.
Levies sources confirmed that the 16-inch diameter gas pipeline at the Pir Koh Gas Field was blown up by assailants, using a remote controlled device.
Heavy contingent of Levies Force, along with security forces, reached the place and cordoned off the entire area, and a search operation has been launched to arrest the suspects. (ANI)
