New Delhi, Mar. 24 (ANI): Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Virbhadra Singh and a team of senior officers met a Korean delegation here today.
Issues concerning the development of MSME sector in both countries were discussed with the six member Korean delegation.
Singh welcomed the visiting dignitaries and informed that his ministry had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) of Korea on June 18, 2010.
He assured his ministry's full co-operation for the development of MSME sector in both countries.
He described the MSME sector as one of the most important sectors after agriculture which provides maximum employment.
Korean delegation leader Dongsun Kim mentioned the enormous opportunities in Small and Medium Enterprises for mutual benefits of both the countries.
The three specific areas mentioned by him were information technology, green technologies and software. (ANI)
