Chennai, Mar.22 (ANI): India's ionic actor Rajnikanth has promised to help Japan's tsunami victims. He was participating in a condolence meeting in Chennai.
When questioned about his plans to visit Japan, Rajnikanth refused to divulge details other than saying that he would visit that ravaged country.
"Yes, I will visit Japan but not now, after some time. Date has not been fixed as yet," said Rajnikanth.
He further said that he still needs to decide on how he would help the quake victims.
A massive quake and tsunami hit Japan on March 11, and claimed over 10,000 lives while 10,259 are still missing.
This makes the earthquake the largest to hit the country since records began in Japan 140 years ago and fifth most powerful to hit the world in the past century. (ANI)
