"In compliance with the instructions of the Election Commission, we have strengthened our preventive activities. And it has been enforced throughout the district. We are regularly undertaking raids throughout the length and breadth of the district and nabbing the accused persons. We are also seizing the contraband that we are getting from excise," Dutta said.

Dutta said that 670 litres of raw liquor, 11,170 litres of fermented liquor and 22,350 litres of fake imported liquor had been seized in the raids.
