Lucknow, Feb 1 (ANI): At least seven Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) aspirants were killed, when they fell down from the roof of two speeding trains in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
They were returning from Bareilly after submitting documents for recruitment in ITBP.
Six, travelling atop the Hemgiri Express, died when they were hit by an over bridge near Shahjahanpur, while another ITBP aspirant was killed when he fell down from Traveni Express in Hardoi district.
It has been reported that around 12 ITBP aspirants were also injured in the accident involving the Hemgiri Express.
Earlier today, thousands of agitated ITBP aspirants went on a rampage in Bareilly torching a number of vehicles after they failed to submit their forms due to alleged mismanagement of the authorities.
The aspirants, who had had gathered at the camp to submit their recruitment forms and obtain a token for physical test, failed to get their documents deposited. (ANI)
